**Pediatrician opening in OR**

Seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join a non-profit regional network of hospitals, physicians, senior care facilities throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast.
- Duties include clinic and inpatient care, including stabilizing newborns.
- Cohesive well-established 9 physician team share patient panels and collaborate closely.
- Has a level 1 nursery & 400 births per year
- Clinic is located across the street from the hospital
- Responsibilities include clinic work only (caring for children with chronic medical problems, and general office procedures), and full range of pediatric inpatient work, including stabilizing newborns.
- Typical clinic day involves 16-24 patients
- 34 patient contact hours weekly includes a combination of days (8 a.m. 5 p.m.), plus rotating evening clinic hours (2-8 p.m.)
- Shared call among colleagues (24 hour shift) typically one shift/week
- Typical week involves 3 clinic days + 1 call block
- Nurse triage and evening clinic staffing mean call nights are quiet.
- Services offered by clinic include social worker, mental health specialist, asthma educator, care coordinator, and lactation support.
- Close relationships with community agencies and pediatric subspecialists
- Socioeconomically diverse patient population with a large percentage of publicly insured patients
- Opportunity to work with medical students and residents
