Seeking a BE/BC Plastic Surgeon to join hospital.
Surgeon is to come in as an independent and start a new practice or an existing practice to expand to the service area. They are not recruiting into an existing group or employment situation. They are open to a subsidy or income guarantee, but it needs to be an entrepreneur-type doc. Only looking for someone who wants to set up their own practice. The guarantee that the hospital provides includes reasonable staff, office space, supplies, equipment and salary/benefits for the first year.
- Independent Practice
- This is a great opportunity for expansion of an established practice into new service area or start-up of new practice.
- You will be an integral member of our robust Oncology service line and Wound Care teams.
- OR available in 2 outpatient surgery centers and main inpatient campus.
Specific interests needed include:
- Breast reconstruction
- Lesion removals
- Traumatic repairs
- Wound closure
- Other core plastic surgery procedures

Valparaiso is a city and the county seat of Porter County, Indiana, United States. The population was 31,730 at the 2010 census.
Located within 60 miles of Chicago, 10 miles from the Indiana Dunes State Park and National Lakeshore, and 20 miles from the resort communities of Michigan. Housing and living expenses are ranked among the lowest in the nation.
