Pulmonology opening in Pennsylvania
- Located in DuBois, PA - Pittsburgh 100m
- Full-time, permanent position
- Established Pulmonary Service Line with 3 physicians and 4 APPs with several clinic locations throughout service area
- Mix of outpatient pulmonary medicine/procedures, inpatient consults
- Call 1:4
- Opportunity to teach in Family Medicine Residency Program
- Established primary care referral base
- Emergency Department with 17,000 Annual Visits
Network provides state-of-the-art advanced pulmonary procedures including electromagnetic navigational bronchoscopy, bronchial thermoplasty, thoracic ultrasound, cryotherapy, airway stenting, diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, Pleurx catheter placement, pleurodesis, management of complex illnesses such as shock, respiratory failure, ARDS, pneumonia, pulmonary hypertension, life threatening drug overdoses and electrolyte imbalances.
Network has been instrumental in developing a comprehensive lung center and critical care program that allows a rapid assessment and demand management of healthcare needs based on the population characteristics and available resources. The model has been very successful in increasing the availability of advanced pulmonary services including latest technology and population health services such as a robust lung cancer screening program to support the clinical needs in the region.
