Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join a dynamic practice in Mankato, MN. The candidate will collaborate with physicians from the Mayo Clinic Health System and other regional providers, contributing to a growing oncology practice.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a dynamic radiation oncology practice.
Participate in the education of residents and medical students.
Engage in clinical research opportunities through various collaborations.
Provide care and treatment to outpatients.
Share inpatient care responsibilities and after-hours call with local providers.
Department Features:
The Andreas Cancer Center, accredited by the American College of Radiology and certified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
State-of-the-art equipment including Varian TrueBeam treatment machines, GE Lightspeed CT simulator, and integrated EMR across Mayo Clinic sites.
Collaborative team including 1.7 RN staff, Advanced Practice Providers, physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and support staff.
Qualifications:
Board-eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
Minnesota state licensure required.
