UPMC Community Medicine, Inc., (CMI) is seeking a combination of two Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians for Health Center Associates located in Pittsburgh (Oakland), Pennsylvania.
In this role, you will be compensated with a base salary and the opportunity to earn additional incentives. You can maximize your annual income with a Shared Savings Plan based on quality metrics and an APP Utilization Program. CMI encourages a healthy work-life balance by offering a mix of clinic-based work with the opportunity for some remote work to provide virtual visits to your patients.
All UPMC Community Medicine, Inc. Primary Care Physicians are provided resources to help you achieve these incentives include social work, behavioral health and nutritionist professionals assigned to your practice for easy referrals, diabetic retinal exams read by an Ophthalmologist in every practice, and partnerships with UPMC Health Plan. Additionally, a team of administrative leaders are responsible for practice operations, so that you can focus on patient care and settling into our team of 350 world-class Primary Care Physicians.
Health Care Associates Practice Details:
- An outpatient only practice with locations in the heart of Oakland at University Center and in Monroeville, PA.
- Looking for two physicians to join our team of four existing physicians and three APPs.
- A call rotation is in place of one weekend (Friday through Sunday) each 4-6 weeks, and individual days during the weeks not on weekend call.
- Providers see anywhere from 13-18 patients per day each with the potential for an unlimited patient panel due to the large population in the area.
- The age range of patients is wide due to one location being on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.
- Resources onsite include blood draws along with a behavioral health therapist 2 days per week, and unlimited other resources due to local UPMC Hospital presence.
- The practice is centrally located and allows for an easy commute to any Pittsburgh community.
Primary Care Physician Job Qualifications:
- Medical Degree
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Program completion
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or board eligible for residency new graduates)
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
- The practice is open to Family Medicine Physician candidates who are willing to care for adults only.
