Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist with extensive Medical Director experience to join our service line as the Division Medical Director for our Capital and North Carolina Divisions. The HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Service line is growing quickly, currently operating in 5 states.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

This is a newly created, senior-level, executive position that will provide leadership for division initiatives within HCA Healthcare’s Capital and NC divisions. The candidate who is chosen will be based in Asheville, North Carolina. The position includes approximately 75% Administrative and 25% clinical responsibilities. The Anesthesia Medical Director Is responsible for performing all other relevant duties as required and directed by/listed in the job description.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:

Will have extensive Anesthesia Medical Director experience, preferably in practices with multiple locations
Must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Healthcare, preferably in Hospital Based physician services and/or healthcare consulting. Must also have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a working knowledge of healthcare systems management and financial oversight for clinical operations.
Will display consistent behavior that enhances the public image of the organization as evidenced by professionalism and interactions with peers, customers, etc.
Will be able to use various computer systems and applications, have the ability to plan, organize and supervise and will exercise initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making process.
Will have excellent communication skills.
Will have the ability to travel up to 50% when needed.
