Urologist
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Urologist to join our team in Nebraska. As a Urologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
Summary and Highlights:
- Examine patients to ensure they are prepared for urological procedures.
- Perform surgeries, such as prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy, using the latest techniques and technologies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs throughout surgeries and manage medical problems as they arise.
- Make cooperative decisions with the healthcare team in the best interests of the patient.
- Monitor patients' recovery from surgery and create individualized recovery plans.
- Determine when patients are ready for discharge or transfer to a specific room.
- Consult with other physicians on patient care, particularly for at-home recovery and pain management.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
- Proven work experience as a Urologist or similar role.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, stooping, pulling, and pushing.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work well under pressure.
