Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician
We are
currently seeking a Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team in
Tennessee. The position involves providing specialized care for pediatric
patients in the Nursery and Peds Floor. Physicians will tie off an extra
digital (nursery) and perform periodic lumbar punctures. No circumcisions are
performed, and physicians do not attend births.
The role includes multidisciplinary rounds, patient care, and some
required procedures.
Responsibilities:

- See patients in Nursery & Peds Floor
- Some procedures required
Shift
Details:
- 24-hour shifts: 7am-7am
- No back-to-back shifts
- Shifts available: either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
- Tennessee state medical license required
Facility
Details:
- Average number of admissions per night: 4-5 new babies and
1-2 PED
- Locked small sleeping suite available for rest
- Cleaned daily by environmental services
- Available for up to 7-10 shifts monthly
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Tennessee state medical license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Clean background and malpractice history (approval required
for any past malpractice history)
