Behavioral Health Counselor (Licensed)
We are seeking a
Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team of healthcare
professionals in Sierra Vista, AZ. As a BH Counselor, you will be responsible
for providing individual and group therapy, counseling, crisis intervention,
and case management services to patients dealing with mental health and
substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities:

Conduct
assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy and counseling
services to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders
·
Provide crisis
intervention and case management services as needed
·
Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
·
Maintain accurate
and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case notes
·
Participate in ongoing
professional development activities to maintain licensure and stay current with
best practices in the field
·
Provide education
and support to patients and their families on mental health and substance abuse
issues
·
Adhere to ethical
and legal standards of practice
Qualifications:
·
Master's degree
in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
·
Current licensure
as a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor in the state of Arizona
·
Minimum of 2
years of experience in providing therapy and counseling services to patients
with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders
·
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills
·
Ability to work
independently and as part of a team
·
Knowledge of evidence-based
practices and treatment modalities for mental health and substance abuse
disorders
