Job Summary:

HCA’s Forward Pathology Solutions is seeking a PRN Pathologist, Board Certified in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, for our West Florida Division providing coverage at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital and HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.

Qualified Candidates:

• AP/CP certification or board eligibility
• At least three years of hospital-based experience
• Active Florida Medical License or eligible to obtain
• Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for community hospital practice
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience building collaborative relationships with hospital staff and referring physicians.

Pathology Work Description:

•  Wide range of surgical pathology specimens
• Cytology cases primarily consist of a variety of non-GYN specimens, thyroid FNA’s, and lung FNA’s.
• Clinical pathology may include peripheral smears and blood bank reviews.
