Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine

- Schedule: 9a - 9pm
- Support staff: 3 Mid-levels; No supervision of others
- Amount of coverage needed per month: 7 days per week
- Patients per day: Approx. 25
- Patient population/age: 80% Adult; 20% Ped; 3% Trauma
- Department description: Standard Emergency cases. Lab and x-ray onsite. 32 exam rooms.
- EMR: EPIC
- Hospital bed size: 253
- Special procedures: None
- Skills required: Acute Care
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- Requirements: Suturing
- Board Certification: BC - Emergency Medicine
- State license required: SC
- DEA: Yes
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Minimum experience required: Must be out of training and have been practicing medicine for at least 2 years.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days with license; 120 without
- Willing To License?: YES
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
