Hospitalist Opening In Central Vermont - Signing Bonus

An award-winning not-for-profit 150-bed community hospital?in central Vermont is adding a day-shift Hospitalist. We employ a full range of Physicians, Case Managers, Therapists, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Social Workers, and Nursing staff to create a supportive team for our patients and our providers as they manage the health and well-being of our community.

About the position:?

• Our hospitalists collaborate with many departments, including a full spectrum of consulting services, a physician-run closed ICU, and a breath of support services from diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, and lab.?
• Enjoy a true partnership with our nursing colleagues who have achieved a three-time magnet designation for our hospital.?
• The daily team consists of four rounding physicians, two daytime admitting providers (1 physician and 1 APP), and one Nocturnist.?
• Our daytime Hospitalists work a blend of rounding and admitting to a total of 14 shifts in 28 days.
• 10-hour shifts from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm?for rounding and 11 am - 9 pm for admitting and no ICU or bedside procedure responsibility.?
• Our rounding teams have an average daily census of 12-14 and we have an average number of daily admissions of 13 spread among the 3 admitting providers.
