Radiology Opening W/ Physician-owned Group In Southeast Massachusetts

A physician-owned and independent multi-specialty group in southeast Massachusetts is adding a general radiologist to join its busy imaging division.

About the opportunity:

• Studies are performed either on the main campus or at a satellite but can be interpreted remotely if desired
• Prefer candidates with 3 or more years of experience
• Skills in general radiology, abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, CT, and ultrasound required
• Credentialing in 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) is not required, but desirable
• Ability to interpret MRI, and specific training (Fellowship) in Body Imaging and/or MSK imaging would be valuable, but not required
• The radiologists do not perform biopsies, drainage or invasive procedures, obstetrical imaging, neonatal or pediatric imaging, major trauma imaging, nuclear medicine, or molecular imaging studies
• Radiologists are on duty (on site) from 8 am until 6 pm during the week and a rotating half-day on Saturdays
• There are no night-time studies, few emergencies, and no on-call interpretations.
• Access is available to nearby PACS systems to compare previous studies
• Speech recognition software is utilized
• Would consider candidates who prefer less than full-time (5 days a week) or who work remotely
• Salary is MGMA-based and commensurate with the candidate?s experience, skill, training, and productivity
• Moving expenses, health insurance, vacation, CME expenses, and a 401K are included
