In this role your responsibilities will be:
- Developing and sustaining relationships
- Impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote practice
- Patient satisfaction and improve value-based healthcare delivery
- Managing the clinical, financial, human and capital resources of the facility
- Work 75% administratively and 25% clinically
- Lead a team of 18 hospital medicine (HM) physicians and 6 advanced practice clinicians
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated hospital medicine leadership experience
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Board certification in internal medicine (IM)
- Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of hospital medicine
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of healthcare professions
- Strong commitment to quality improvement and patient safety
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff, administration and patients
- Ability to encourage team members to achieve their best and fostering a positive work environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and utilize clinical and financial data
- Active Georgia medical license and DEA preferred
