Job Description
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for part-time weekend call coverage in Pennsylvania. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Schedule:
- Shifts:
- Friday 5:00 PM – Saturday 8:00 AM
- Saturday 8:00 AM – Sunday 8:00 AM
- Sunday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM
- Minimum Availability Required: 1 weekend/month
- Estimated Shifts/Month: Up to 3 weekends
- Call Type: 24-hour beeper call with 30-minute response time
- Call Back: ~1–2 procedures per weekend (Emergency Cath)
- Support Staff: APP and non-invasive cardiologist handle first calls; APP available throughout the weekend
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (MD/DO)
- Licensure: PA license or IMLC in hand
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
- Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred
