Responsibilities

Pediatrix has an exciting career opportunity for a neonatal nurse practitioner to join our team of experienced providers on a per diem basis at our Covenant Medical Center practice in Saginaw, Michigan.

  • 54-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Average daily census of approximately 35-40 patients
  • Full range of pediatric sub specialties
  • Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, high-risk delivery attendance and maintenance of the patients
  • 24 Hour In-house Shifts

A cornerstone of Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region, Saginaw is located in Central Michigan and is approximately 90 minutes from Detroit.   The area is home to a vast system of waterways and woodlands as well as a wealth of nature preserves, trails and facilities that support a love for green spaces while also inspiring active lifestyles.  Saginaw offers a rich and diverse quality of life and provides a low cost of living and affordable education.  One of the gems of this bustling town is the Riverfront District, which offers many things to do, places to live and many educational opportunities.  Enjoy arts and culture, nearby parks and family friendly activities. Qualifications
  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree and 1 year post-grad NNP experience
  • Active MI license for IMLC compact license, preferred
  • Recent clinical experience and case logs required
Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.

Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. 

Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
