Details:
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician for a Medical Director of Perioperative Services role.
Full-time position (1.0 FTE) with a mix of clinical (0.9 FTE) and medical director duties (0.1 FTE).
Monday Friday, 8 AM 4:30 PM; no call, weekends, or holidays.
Work alongside a team of 13 APCs in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Provide preoperative risk stratifications, evaluations, and care coordination.
Influence surgical patient outcomes, including postoperative recovery, readmission prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with surgeons, primary care, cardiology, pulmonology, and therapy teams throughout the surgical experience.
Will consider an ambitious new grad or a practicing provider.

Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $270,000 with up to $13,500 in value-based quality incentives.
Medical Director pay: $131/hour (up to 4 hours per week).
35 days PTO (vacation, CME, holidays).
$4,500 CME allowance plus licensing and board fee reimbursement.
