Locums - Thoracic OR Physician Assistant - Clinic - Clinton Township, MI
Why This Role?
- Ongoing need for experienced OR PA with thoracic or cardiac assist background
- Autonomous APP role in high-acuity setting
- Robotic experience highly preferred
Duration: ASAP - Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts; no call, no weekends
Clinical Details:
- Practice settings include operating room and clinic
- Level 2 trauma center
- Patient volume varies; adult-only demographic
- Must be capable of working autonomously
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified PA (NCCPA)
- Active MI license
- ACLS
- BLS
- Extensive thoracic OR experience or cardiac first assist experience
- Clean history
Skills Needed:
- Robotic lung resections and foregut surgery (preferred)
- Docking robotic systems and bedside assistance
- First assist in thoracic or cardiac surgical procedures
