**Neurohospitalist/Stroke Clinic Neurologist opportunity in Michigan**

A leading healthcare provider in Southwest Michigan is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Neurohospitalist/Stroke Clinic Neurologist to join their established, highly reputable practice. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, patient-centered team dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based neurological care.


**Position Highlights:**

* Comprehensive Stroke Center & Level 1 Trauma Center within a 434-bed hospital
* Largest stroke hospital in the region, featuring a 40-bed neurovascular unit and a 12-bed Neurocritical Care unit
* Opportunity to perform EMGs if interested
* System-wide EMR: Epic

**Hybrid Schedule:**

* 1 week inpatient (including weekend coverage)
* 1 week post-call following inpatient work
* 2 weeks outpatient clinic (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm)
* Call Schedule: Average of 1 weekday night per week

**Support System:**

* Neurohospitalist & Clinic APP support Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
* 24/7/365 Neurocritical Care support

**Patient Volumes:**

* Inpatient: 3-5 new consults & 5-8 follow-ups per day
* Clinic: Primarily vascular neurology with a small mix of general neurology; average of 10-12 patients per day

**Qualifications:**

* Medical degree from an accredited university
* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
* Completion of an ACGME-approved neurology residency
* Preferred: Fellowship in Vascular Neurology or Neurocritical Care with the ability to read vascular ultrasound studies
* Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
* Open to a hybrid rotation of inpatient and clinic work
