**Full Time and Permanent Position**

Position Summary:

A well-established and compassionate team is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Palliative Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained) to support growing demand for palliative and hospice care services in the Dyer and Munster, Indiana areas. This is a full-time opportunity to provide meaningful, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the support of a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving quality of life for patients facing serious illness. Comfort working within the framework of ethical and religious directives for health care is expected.

What You Can Expect:

Schedule: Full-time, with an average of 2 clinic days/week (dependent on volume)
Call: Rotating weeknights and weekend inpatient call (1:4)
Outpatient Volume: 5 6 patients per week (on average)
Inpatient Volume: Approximately 6 patients/day

Support:

Dedicated palliative care team including chaplain and social worker
Collegial, interdisciplinary team
National Catholic Bioethics certification provided

Qualifications:

Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO) Required
Indiana Physician License or eligibility Required upon hire
Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Required
Fellowship training or certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association Required upon hire
