Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist to come join our team on a per diem basis at Memorial Hermann Northeast, an established OB Hospitalist Program northeast of Houston with tremendous administration support. Join our team and enjoy the flexibility of working on your terms while continuing to make a meaningful impact on women's health. 

 

  • Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital is proud to deliver over 1,400 babies annually, and offers a Level-II & III NICUs with experienced care and advanced technology
  • Women's Center, with new OBED department, as well
  • Our team is made up of highly motivated OB/GYN hospitalists who perform deliveries, cover the OB and main emergency department, round on inpatients and manage transports
  • Collaboration with affiliated MFM and neonatology providers 
  • 24-hour in-house shifts
  • No clinic responsibilities

A 255-bed facility, Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital has been caring for families in the Lake Houston and Kingwood area for more than 30 years, offering world-class care close to home. Its affiliated doctors span a wide variety of disciplines. Additionally, Memorial Hermann Northeast serves as the official healthcare provider to passengers traveling through Houston’s George Bush International Airport.

Qualifications
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN
  • Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required
  • Active TX license or IMLC license required

 

 

Benefits and Compensation

 

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.

Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. 

Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
