Academic Hospitalist in Nashville, TN

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time academic hospitalist to join our team at Nashville General Hospital in Nashville, TN. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment with a strong emphasis on teaching family medicine residents, quality improvement and scholarly activity. 

Opportunity Overview:

• Faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor with Meharry Medical College
• Clinical responsibilities include inpatient care on family medicine teaching service
• Ability to implement quality improvements
• Flexible 7 on/7 off schedule 
• Employed model with health benefits

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in family medicine (cannot consider IM or other board certifications as this is a family medicine residency program)
• Recent hospitalist experience is required (cannot accept new grads for this position)
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine
