Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career with a company that can unleash your clinical talent? TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) with an interest in internal and adult medicine.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving high quality, safe and cost-effective care of patients in our local post-acute care communities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team rounding on all patients as medically necessary as required by CMS. This includes but is not limited to H&P, admission, progress, transfer, discharge, and acute/follow up. You will also work with the facility to transfer short term rehab patients to the level of care most appropriate for their medical needs; including returning to home, independent living centers, assisted living, and/or memory care.
Our NP/PAs work closely with hospice, palliative care, and home care agency to ensure a safe transition home. Being action oriented and having a "can do" attitude with a high standard of quality and safety in care is a top priority for our teams to help build a strong reputation in our community to support our patients.
Our compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $106,000 to $127,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is 3.5 days per week with 2 days during the week and 2 days every other weekend, this opportunity is benefit eligible.
