**Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant**
**Located in Roscoe, IL**

We are seeking a qualified Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pain Management Team, providing care across locations in Wisconsin and Illinois. This role is ideal for a motivated and compassionate provider who is dedicated to improving pain outcomes and quality of life for patients experiencing chronic and acute pain.

Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is a valued member of the healthcare team, offering medical and educational services in collaboration with a licensed physician. This role focuses on optimizing health outcomes for patients dealing with pain and addressing the widespread public health issues surrounding under-treatment and mismanagement of pain conditions.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient interviews, physical exams, and chart reviews to determine eligibility for interventional treatments.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and other chronic pain conditions.
Perform in-office procedures such as Botox injections and joint/soft tissue injections.
Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies, procedures, and self-care.
Stay current with CDC, DEA, and state-specific opioid prescribing guidelines.
Support pre- and post-intervention care, medication management, and follow-up evaluations.
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
Document all patient care accurately and promptly in the EMR.
Monitor the effectiveness of pain interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
Travel to satellite clinic locations as required.

Qualifications
Master s degree in Nursing or equivalent with appropriate NP or PA certification.
Certification in Family Practice or Adult Medicine.
Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Registered Nurse (RN) license, if applicable.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current DEA license.
2 3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider preferred.
Background in pain management or orthopedics preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs).
Ability to handle high-stress clinical situations.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Willingness to travel between clinical locations.
