Job Summary:

HCA Skyline Medical Center is seeking an EMS Director for our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program.

Qualified Candidates:
  • • Program Leadership: Support and assist in the oversight of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program, collaborating with two other EMS physicians to serve as a liaison between the department and EMS agencies.
  • • Education and Outreach: Provide education and training to EMS personnel, residents, and medical students through lectures, simulation, and field experiences.
  • • Support long term efforts to develop an EMS fellowship
  • • Medical Direction: Offer clinical oversight, protocol development, and quality assurance for EMS operations.
  • • Operational Support: Collaborate with EMS agencies to ensure optimal pre-hospital patient care and seamless integration with the Emergency Department.
  • • Research and Advocacy: Support EMS-related research projects and advocate for advancements in pre-hospital care.
  • • Disaster Preparedness: Participate in disaster planning and response initiatives in coordination with local and regional EMS agencies.
