General Surgery opening 2 hours to New York City. You will join a 192-bed non-profit facility with 42 outpatient Care Centers to join their established team. You will provide comprehensive surgical care to patients across a broad spectrum of general surgery procedures. Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including but not limited to: appendectomies, hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, and bowel surgeries..  Participate in on-call rotation for emergency surgical coverage..  Diagnose and treat a variety of surgical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings..  Collaborate with hospital staff, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes..  Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-up visits and coordination of care..  Call: Call responsibilities are 1/3 on a rotating basis for emergent OR cases only..  Negotiable salary; guaranteed base with incentive package.  Benefits include occurrence malpractice, individual and family health care insurance, CME/professional dues, paid time off, disability coverage, retirement plans, and more..  Opportunity to be involved in outside activities, to pursue educational opportunities, and to be a mentor for others..
