**Cardiothoracic Surgeon Thoracic Focus**
**Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon**
**Minimum of 5 years experience in robotic-assisted thoracic surgery**
Position Overview:
A growing health system in Ohio is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a strong background in thoracic surgery and robotic-assisted procedures. This role is structured as 70% thoracic and 30% cardiac, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration in the treatment of complex thoracic and oncology patients.
Program Highlights:
Performs over 500 open-heart surgeries and 300+ thoracic cases annually
100+ TAVR procedures performed each year
Newly established ECMO program
Advanced techniques in robotic and thoracoscopic lung resections, esophageal and mediastinal surgery
Comprehensive cardiac surgery program including valve, coronary, arrhythmia, and aortic procedures
Active opportunities for clinical research through an academic affiliation
Position Details:
Join a team of three experienced cardiothoracic surgeons
Practice will be split between two trauma centers: a Level I and a Level III facility, located 20 miles apart
Strong infrastructure and growing program, with steady procedural volume growth since 2019
Candidate Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
U.S. Trained Physician (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Minimum of 5 years experience in robotic-assisted thoracic surgery
