Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Active WI license or IMLC
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Credentialing timeframe: 30 90 days
Skills Required:
o Adult general surgery
o GI endoscopy (upper and lower, including colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy)
o Food bolus and GI bleed management
Preferred Skills:
o Laparoscopic procedures (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen)
o Trauma surgery
o Chest tube and central line insertion
o Chest wall/pleural procedures
No supervision of APPs or residents
