**Full-Time Position**

A private pathology practice is seeking full-time pathologists to join its dynamic and growing team.
The group is the largest private pathology provider in the Dayton, Ohio area, consisting of 13 pathologists.
Services are provided to a 900+ bed tertiary care, Level 1 trauma center, multiple regional hospitals, independent GI/GU/Heme labs, and a large outreach clinical laboratory.
The practice features a robust hematopathology service and a well-established immunohistochemistry department.
Molecular diagnostics capabilities include FISH and PCR testing for both hematologic and solid tumors.
Strong collaboration with radiology for CT/US-guided biopsies supporting malignancy work-ups.
Pathologists are responsible for:
Surgical pathology
Frozen sections
Quick assessments/immediate reads (e.g., CT/US-guided biopsies, navigational lung biopsies, EBUS, EUS)
Cytopathology (including pap smears, non-gyn specimens, and FNAs)
Clinical lab duties include:
Peripheral blood smear interpretation
Hemoglobin electrophoresis
SPEP and UPEP interpretation
Call responsibilities include frozen sections and general clinical lab support (note: no autopsies are performed).
Rotating responsibilities include medical directorships and sign-out duties across multiple sites.
Active participation in multispecialty conferences (breast, lung, head and neck, neuro-oncology, gynecologic oncology, hepatobiliary, and general tumor boards).
Engagement in hospital committee work is encouraged and expected.
Requirements:
Board eligible or board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Must hold or be eligible for an Ohio medical license
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
