Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide full-time emergency department coverage. Providers must be autonomous and capable of independently managing all levels of acuity in a high-volume setting.
Requirements:
- Board Certified NP or PA
- Minimum 5 years Emergency Medicine experience
- Active Pennsylvania license
- DEA, ACLS, BLS required
- Minimum 5 shifts/month commitment
- Strong preference for local candidates
- Must be comfortable with all ER procedures (attendings assist with high-risk procedures)
Facility Details:
- 100 patients/day
- 6 APPs per shift
- 18–20 admissions/day
- 85% Adult | 15% Pediatric
- Procedures include: Lacerations, I&Ds, reductions, intubations, central lines, LPs, chest tubes (attending support available)
