Job Description

Locums - Hematology Oncology - Clinic - Richmond, VA

Why This Role?

Coverage needed due to physician relocation

Full assignment from July 21 to December 31, 2025

Mix of inpatient and outpatient care

2 physicians currently on staff

Duration: July 21, 2025 - December 31, 2025

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Schedule: Inpatient mostly, with some outpatient coverage during physician vacations

Clinical Details:

Adult patient population

Average daily inpatient census: 12-15 patients

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

Board Certified in Hematology Oncology

Active VA license

Clean history

Facility will accept multiple providers

Skills Needed:

Inpatient and outpatient hematology oncology care

Managing 12-15 inpatients per day

Coordination with limited staff (2 physicians on site)

Familiarity with EPIC EMR
