**Pain Management Provider (NP or PA) opening in CO**
**Located in Salida, 100m to Colorado Springs**
**Full Time Position**
A well-established Pain Management clinic in Colorado is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a busy, collaborative practice focused on interventional pain procedures and medication management. This is an APP-led clinic supported by an experienced interventional pain physician. While prior experience in pain management is preferred, motivated candidates eager to grow in this specialty will be considered and trained.
Position Highlights:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical exams
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating procedures, medications, and lifestyle changes
Manage patients on controlled substances in compliance with regulations
Collaborate with the interventional pain physician on procedures and complex cases
Educate patients on pain management strategies and safe medication use
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Participate in care team meetings and quality initiatives
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing (FNP) or completion of an accredited PA program
Active and unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license
Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or primary care is a plus
New graduates with strong training and interest in pain medicine are welcome to apply
Skills:
Excellent clinical judgment, assessment, and diagnostic skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage a complex patient panel independently and within a team
