The Clinical Product Owner is responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of clinical imaging systems products. The position will serve as a clinical imaging systems subject matter expert ensuring the clinical systems offer optimal value to our clinicians and practices.

 

1.  Acts as lead liaison/coordinator to work with Specialty Medical Officers, Clinicians, Medical Directors, Practice Managers, and all practice employees at multiple levels. 

 

 

2. Work with internal and external customers to analyze needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals leveraging the Agile SDLC process.

 

3. Assess value, develops use cases, and prioritizes stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.

4. Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as a resource for queries related to the product.

 

5. Develop and maintain product documentation for roll-out and training of new functionalities.

6. Represent the business for the product, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog.

 

7. Own the refinement of the application product backlog to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.

 

8. Accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product.

 

9. Lead and participate with cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development, post-deployment, and production support.

 

10. Understand and advocate for the voice of the customer; oftentimes engaging them on a 1:1 basis.

 

11. Provide business context and clear functional and nonfunctional requirements for effective engineering delivery.

 

12. Monitor technical support systems for product improvement opportunities.

 

13. Perform training for interdepartmental team members and clinicians on product features and functionality.

 

14. Manages/monitors the on-call responsibility for clinicians after hours ensuring 24-hour support as needed.

 

15. Coordinates the facilitating testing and involving practices before version upgrades.

 

16. Collaborates with all departments to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

 

17. Provides prompt, courteous, professional, and accurate information in all communications in dealing with physicians and other departments.

 

18. Demonstrates a commitment to department objectives through consistent patterns of work behavior and positive representation.

 

19. Responds to the department needs by accepting additional assignments, which may or may not be related to the job's primary responsibilities to ensure the continuity of department services.

 

20. Responsible for following all facility, organization and department precautions and procedures in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for self and others.

 

21. Maintains up to date compliance training as required.

 

22. Other duties as assigned.

 

23. On call 24/7 availability will be needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or university program certificate or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5 years experience with clinical data system implementation, including integration.

5 years clinical/training experience in Ambulatory/Hospital setting.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent communication

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills needed to adjust to the changing system environment

 

Software: 

Proficient in NextGen or other Clinical Information and/or Imaging Systems (i.e. Epic, Cerner, eCW, GE ViewPoint)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint

Familiarity with JIRA and Windows.PACS, Cadwell EEG
