Duration: August 20, 2025 - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Call Only

Schedule: Beeper call with 30-minute response time; 1:3 call ratio

Clinical Details:

• Inpatient and outpatient setting


• Admissions required


• 5 beds in department


• EMR: Medhost


• Approximately 4 patients per shift


• Approximately 6 phone consults and 2 admissions per call shift


• Support staff includes 2 RNs and 1 MA

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology


• Active FL license


• PALS


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Low and high risk pregnancy management


• FHR interpretation including NST, CST, FSE


• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and II)


• Amniocentesis


• Routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps


• Decision-making for and performance of C-section


• Complicated deliveries including breech, multiples, abruptions


• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations


• Office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)


• Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, major operative)
