**Coverage Type**: Shift-based (day and night)

**Schedule/Coverage Need**:
- Immediate need for July 1-6 and 11-12
- Ongoing coverage: 10-12 shifts/month
- June: 8 10 shifts/month, primarily night coverage
- Mix of day and night shifts available

- Community hospital emergency department with 44 beds
- Annual ED volume: 55,000
- 15% of ED patients admitted; 1-2 daily transfers
- ED staffed by 11 physicians; 5 are departing
- Fast track staffed by APPs, handles 40% of ED volume
- EMR: Epic
- ED team responds to house codes (airway responsibility)
- Admissions handled by hospitalists
- On-call physician response time: 30 minutes or less
- Transfers sent to referral hub 20-30 minutes away
- 24/7 availability for imaging, lab, OR, anesthesia, and blood bank
- Full specialist support (radiology, cardiology, GI, psych, etc.)
- Supervision of APPs required
- Admissions required: Yes
- Will facility accept multiple providers: Yes

**Requirements**:
- Board certification/eligibility: Yes (ABEM or AOBEM; if BE, must be within 5 years of residency)
- Active state license: Yes (MA license required at time of name clear)
- Clean history

**Skills Needed**:
- Broad-spectrum emergency care in a high-volume community setting
- Ability to supervise APPs and fast track
- ED airway management and team-based response coordination
