Job Description

  • Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm schedule -- no call, no weekends
  • 11 - 13 patients per day with 3 - 6 daily admissions/discharges
  • Adult inpatient psychiatric unit with consult service responsibilities
  • Full-time internist manages all medical care for psychiatric patients
  • Works alongside 3 other attending physicians
  • Strong emphasis on team collaboration with nursing and social work staff
  • Coverage needed due to staffing transitions
  • Comfortable managing acutely ill patients and severe mental illness required
  • We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
  • We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
  • We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
  • Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
