Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to provide onsite outpatient coverage in Illinois. This is a part-time assignment with full support from an established care team.
Responsibilities Include:
- New oncology patient consultations and diagnostic work-ups
- Managing treatment plans and follow-ups
- Ordering and interpreting labs, imaging, therapies
- Overseeing infusion center operations and collaborating with infusion staff
- Working alongside Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Primary Care, and Surgical teams
Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Estimated Shifts: 10 (2 weeks)
- EMR: Epic
- Call: Evening call 1–2x/week (5 PM–8 AM), 30-min response
- Licensure: Must hold an active Illinois license, DEA, CSR, BLS, and ACLS
