Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient primary care coverage at a health center in Maine. This is a flexible assignment with an expedited credentialing process.
Assignment Details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Schedule: 2–3 days/week preferred, open to full-time
- Setting: Outpatient only
- Patient Volume: 12–18 patients per day
- Visit Lengths: 15–30 minutes
- Support Team: 6 PCPs + MAs
- Credentialing: Fast-track – within a few days
- Travel & Lodging: Provided
Requirements:
- Active Maine license (or ability to obtain quickly)
- NP or PA with experience in primary care
- Comfortable managing a broad patient population in a rural outpatient setting
