Why This Role?

• High-acuity OB/GYN practice with strong midwife support


• Long-term need for 5-6 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month


• In-house call model, no OT unless exceeding 24 hours

Duration: October 1, 2025 - October 31, 2026

Coverage Type: Call Only

Schedule: 5-6 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month; onsite presence required

Clinical Details:

• Inpatient only


• EMR: Epic


• Level 2 trauma center


• Support from 13 APPs and 5 midwives


• Emergent ED cases include hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cystectomy, D&C, hysteroscopy, exploratory laparotomy

Requirements:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN


• Active WA license or IMLC


• BLS


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Low and high-risk pregnancy management


• OB ultrasound (Level I required, Level II preferred)


• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries including complicated cases (breech, multiples, abruptions)


• FHR interpretation and decision-making for C-sections


• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations


• Preferred: open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery
