• STEMI-focused call with cath lab onsite


• Orientation day before start


• Temporary privileges available

Duration: June 16, 2025 Ongoing

Coverage Type: Call Only

Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (7a 7a); orientation day prior

Clinical Details:

• STEMI call only; includes consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients


• 2 cath labs onsite


• 7 RNs and 8 techs; call team includes 3 RNs + 1 tech


• Volume varies; typically 0 few cases/week


• EMR: MediTech

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology


• Active WV license or IMLC


• BLS


• Must be available for more than weekends

Skills Needed:

• Interventional cardiology procedures for STEMI care


• Cardiac catheterization and PCI


• Comfort with inpatient consults and emergent cardiac cases


• Ability to work independently without supervision


• Willingness to assist with procedures if other IC not available

Additional Notes:

• Not full-time; ongoing call support


• No general cardiology or inpatient rounding unless desired


• Facility may extend coverage past July
