Locums - Interventional Cardiology - Clinic + Call - Palmer, AK
Why This Role?
- Supplemental cardiology support during busy fall/winter season
- Split inpatient and outpatient coverage with structured support team
- Call included with 30-minute response window
Duration: September 1, 2025 - January 9, 2026
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule: Daytime clinic/inpatient care with beeper call rotation
Clinical Details:
- Trauma Level 3 facility
- Inpatient and outpatient coverage with 15 patients per shift
- Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
- Support team includes 2 RNs, 4 MAs, 2 APPs, and 2 office staff
- EMR: Cerner and Athena
Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Licensed in AK
- ABLS
- ACLS
- BLS
- Clean history
Skills Needed:
- Interventional cardiology procedures in acute and elective settings
- Inpatient consults and outpatient cardiac management
- Supervision of advanced practice providers
- Efficient response to call situations within 30 minutes
