Infectious Disease Physician: - UPMC Western Maryland- Full-time opportunity

UPMC is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Cumberland, MD. As a member of our care delivery team, the Infectious Disease Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients. This is a full-time position. 

  Responsibilities: 

•  Develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and patients 
• Demonstrate knowledge of infectious diseases and apply it in the treatment and care of patients 
•  Provide detailed and appropriate education to patients and their families 
• Create a caring and compassionate patient-focused experience 
• Demonstrate accountability for professional development 
• Actively participate in department-specific quality improvement efforts 
•  Identify research opportunities related to infectious diseases and influence patients' plans of care   

Qualifications: 

•  Ability to establish positive relationships with colleagues and patients 
•  Ability to work effectively in a complex environment and handle changing priorities 
•  Good clinical judgment and critical thinking skill

 Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: 

• Active Maryland Medical Licensure
