Why This Role?

• Low-volume freestanding ED with manageable patient load


• Option to work across three regional locations for scheduling flexibility

Duration: As soon as credentialed - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours

Schedule: Minimum 5 shifts/month, ideally 8-10; 12-hour shifts (8a-8p, 8p-8a)

Clinical Details:

• Freestanding ED averaging 25-35 patients/day


• On-site APP support daily from 12p-12a


• No admissions managed on-site - transferred to hospitalist team


• Each provider handles their own documentation


• Codes in ED managed by provider


• EMR: Not specified

Requirements:

• Board Certified in IM or FM (ABMS or AOA only)


• Active OH license or IMLC


• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP


• COVID vaccination


• 2+ years of recent experience


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Emergency evaluation and stabilization


• Procedures and urgent care for low-to-moderate acuity patients


• ED code response and documentation


• Coordination with hospitalist and tertiary transfer centers
