Coverage Type: No Call

Schedule: Outpatient hours only; Telehealth supported

Clinical Details:

• 25 patients per shift


• EMR: Epic


• Facility trauma level: 1


• 10 beds in department


• Support staff includes 2 RNs, 3 MAs, 2 PAs/NPs, and 16 office staff

Requirements:

• Board certified or eligible


• Active PA license


• BLS


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Management of PIH and HELLP syndrome


• Type I, II, and gestational diabetes


• Care for cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurological, autoimmune, and hematologic/oncologic disorders


• Placenta previa/abruption and multiples gestation management


• Vaginal deliveries


• Amniocentesis for genetics


• Performance and interpretation of Level II/targeted ultrasounds and fetal echocardiography
