Why This Role?

• 1 week/month need starting August 2025


• Trauma Level 2 hospital with 1st assist support as needed


• Growing surgicalist team expanding locum pool

Duration: August 2025 - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Week-long blocks each month, including call and optional daytime surgicalist shifts

Call: Beeper call with 30-minute response time

Clinical Details:

• General orthopaedic trauma and joint procedures


• Supportive inpatient setting; EPIC EMR


• 1st assist support available


• Admissions and rounding required


• Located near SEATAC Airport

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery


• Active WA license


• BLS certification


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Joint replacement and revisions (hip, knee, shoulder)


• Trauma and general orthopaedics


• Spine procedures with or without instrumentation


• Hand surgery, tendon repairs, peripheral nerve procedures
