Start Date: September 2, 2025

End Date: Ongoing

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM + beeper call (weeknight & weekend)

Clinical Details:

• 13 14 patients per shift


• Practice setting includes inpatient and outpatient


• Call response time: 15 minutes; 1:3 call ratio


• EMR: Cerner


• Support: 3 RNs, 4 MAs, 8 APPs, 6 office staff

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology


• ERCP - required; EUS - preferred


• ACLS and BLS certifications


• Supervision of APPs required

Skills Needed:

• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder cautery, varices injection, PEG


• ERCP - diagnostic and therapeutic


• Esophageal dilatation and manometry interpretation


• Small bowel biopsy, colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision


• Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy preferred
