Locums - OBGYN - Call Coverage - Grass Valley, CA
Why This Role?
- Support needed for ongoing coverage and maternity leave
- Beautiful Northern California setting
- Work with a strong team of local OBs and hospital-based support
Duration: August 2025 - December 2025
Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage
Schedule: 8a to 8a shifts; part of ongoing schedule and weekend coverage
Clinical Details:
- Hospital-based practice with dedicated Family Birthing Center and OR for C-sections
- Average 25-40 deliveries per month
- Call includes ED consults for OB/GYN-related issues
- EMR: Cerner
- Support staff includes anesthesiologists, general surgeons, OB/GYNs, family medicine OBs, pediatrician on-call, and RTs
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in OBGYN
- Active CA license
- DEA
- Clean history
- Availability for August through December coverage
Skills Needed:
- Full-scope OBGYN including deliveries and C-sections
- Proficiency with hysteroscopy, operative laparoscopy, and open laparotomy
- ED consults and management of OB/GYN emergencies
