Locums - Gastroenterology - Clinic - Spokane, WA
Why This Role?
- High-need GI coverage with scheduled dates through 2026
- Work with full outpatient/inpatient support team
- No call; procedures only
Duration: September 15, 2025 - January 2, 2026 (additional dates into 2027)
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Schedule: 7a-5p, no call; coverage includes multiple full weeks across the year
Clinical Details:
- Outpatient and inpatient procedure-based GI coverage
- Approx. 5 patients per shift
- Trauma Level 2 facility
- EMR: Epic
- Support staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs, 2 APPs, 8 office staff
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active WA license or IMLC
- ACLS
- BLS
- Clean history
Skills Needed:
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder
- Diagnostic ERCP
- Esophageal dilatation and manometry interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
