• Split schedule across outpatient clinic and inpatient endoscopy center


• Clinic-based role with low-intensity call


• Full support team including RN, MA, and APC


• Located near the coast in a community hospital setting

Duration: Starting August 1, 2025 - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Clinic 8a-4:30p; Inpatient procedures 7:30a-3:30p

Call: Phone call coverage only; rare callback to hospital (1-2x/month typical)

Clinical Details:

• Daily volume: 12-15 patients


• Facility: 78-bed community hospital


• Inpatient/Outpatient float between endoscopy center and hospital


• Epic EMR

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology


• Active NC license


• BLS and ACLS


• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, variceal injection, foreign body removal, and bleeder cautery


• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic)


• PEG tube placement, small bowel biopsy, esophageal dilation


• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision


• Optional: EUS and liver biopsy
