Join a respected and collaborative team of cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced practice providers, office-based RNs, and perfusionists within a leading multi-specialty organization. The comprehensive cardiovascular program includes 20 cardiologists and 4 vascular surgeons, with a co-management agreement alongside Iowas largest health system. The established adult general cardiothoracic surgery department features a recognized structural heart program, participating in TAVR and MitraClip, as well as Maze procedures and lead extraction. Facilities include two dedicated cardiac surgery ORs and access to two hybrid procedural rooms. Call is 1:3. Research and teaching opportunities are available through a residency program. The position offers an excellent payor mix, a large internal and external referral base, and a competitive compensation package with income guarantee, bonus opportunities, and a shareholder track. Benefits include a 401(k) profit sharing retirement plan, health, dental, vision, disability, long-term care and life insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
